The cleansing gel contains a sugar surfactant as its cleansing component, which is one of the most skin-friendly detergents. Therefore, the washout effect on the skin's own protective substances is comparatively very low. The sugar surfactant is made from a purely plant-based source. Furthermore, it contains no foaming substances, which are generally unsuitable for sensitive skin due to their surface activity.

The cleansing gel also contains no moisturizing substances that could interfere with subsequent cosmetic treatments. On the other hand, due to their structure, which is often similar to emulsifiers, they are also completely unsuitable for atopic skin. The cleansing gel is therefore recommended for sensitive and problem skin, for home cleansing, as well as for preparing for cosmetic and dermatological treatments. It can, of course, also be used on normal skin. It contains no preservatives that can trigger allergies. Due to the typical inherent odor of the sugar surfactant, a lemon-like scent of lemongrass oil is added to the product. However, due to the lack of moisturizing components, this oil does not remain on the skin.

The cleansing gel is suitable for all skin types and also for removing makeup residue.
