PROPERTIES
N-acetyl glucosamine (NAG) , a natural fragment of hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan), stimulates the endogenous production of hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for skin turgor. Turgor has a decisive influence on skin elasticity and firmness.
Externally applied hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan) bonds with the skin's keratin via hydrogen bonds, forming an effective moisturizing film on the skin's surface. Combined with NAG, it not only increases skin hydration but also visibly reduces wrinkles.
The transport of NAG through the skin barrier is facilitated by liposomes whose membranes consist of physiological phosphatidylcholine . D-panthenol (provitamin B5) supports the transport of NAG and simultaneously exerts a regenerative effect, among other things by stimulating epithelialization.
Barrier-affine ceramides and sebum-related lipids leave a lasting care effect.
