CHARACTERISTICS
The nanoparticles stabilize coenzyme Q10 and optimally transport the active ingredient into the stratum corneum. Coenzyme Q10 is used primarily in creams for mature skin in combination with vitamins A and E. It enhances the effect of these vitamins and the antioxidant capacity of the epidermis. Protection against oxidative UVA effects has been described. The coenzyme Q10 used is biotechnologically obtained from glucose.
